Data Deletion Instructions
At Postra, we value your privacy and provide you with full control over your data. If you wish to delete your account or any data associated with your social media integrations, please follow the instructions below.
How to Delete Your Account
- Log in to your Postra account.
- Navigate to Settings.
- Scroll down to the Danger Zone or Account Management section.
- Click on Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion. This action is permanent and will remove all your data, including connected social accounts and scheduled posts.
How to Revoke Social Media Access
If you only want to remove a specific social media connection (like TikTok or Instagram) without deleting your Postra account:
- Go to the Social Accounts or Connections tab in your dashboard.
- Find the account you wish to remove.
- Click Disconnect or the trash icon.
- Alternatively, you can revoke access directly from the social media platform's security settings (e.g., Instagram's "Apps and Websites" section).
Request Data Deletion via Email
If you are unable to access your account or prefer to have us handle the deletion manually, please send an email to contact@postra.comwith the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Please include the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days.
Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Data Deletion
Postra does not store your personal Meta data on our servers beyond what is necessary for the application's functionality. According to Meta's policy, we provide this callback for user data deletion. If you want to delete your activities for the Postra app, you can follow these steps:
- Go to your Facebook Profile's "Settings & Privacy" > "Settings".
- Look for "Apps and Websites" and you will see all of the apps and websites you linked with your Facebook.
- Search and tap "Postra" in the search bar.
- Scroll and tap "Remove".
